In this semester long class ( quarters 1 & 2 ), students will learn how graphics and text tell a story, what role the audience takes in the design of a visual piece and how to target an audience through visual story telling.

Student will create several simple designs utilizing design software and hand fabricated techniques. Each student will create a portfolio website, which can be viewed by clicking on the Student Portfolio's drop down list on this site.

The class will culminate with an evaluation of an artwork from a noted graphic designer and a self evaluation of one of the students own works as it relates to the design world.
